Baby Kylee was born 12/20/2011 at 8:02 am. She weighed 7.15 pounds and was 21.25 inches. She was my smallest baby, but still a good size. They rushed her to NICU right away, because she was having a very hard time breathing. Every day has gotten worse since then. They did a chest x-ray and it shows signs of pneumonia, and is on 2 different antibiotics. She was on 3 mL of fast flow oxygen, they stopped feeding her and did IV nutrients only, and she had to be treated under a light for jaundice. Today, she was put down to 2.5 mL of oxygen, and her resp rates were a lot lower. They decided to do a spinal tap though, to rule anything else out. It breaks my heart, because I want to be with her constantly, and want to cuddle her. She can't come home with me tomorrow, and will be here at least til next week sometime, if not longer. This is not what I had planned at all, and I know some things don't go to plan, but I wish this wasn't one of them. I am so sad, and it does not feel like Christmas to me at all. But I have to put on my happy face for my other 2 babies, and just keep praying for my Kylee. Please, Please let her be ok. That is all I want!
